As a part of Team FareShare North East running in the Great North Run 2024, you’ll join a community of dedicated individuals making a meaningful impact on North East communities facing food insecurity. Your commitment to covering 13.1 miles will contribute to empowering the charities we work with to maximize their impact and amplify their ability to address the multifaceted challenges associated with food poverty.

How to enter the Great North Run
There are two ways you can join Team FareShare North East in this iconic event.
Secure a charity place for the Great North Run 2024
Bag yourself one of our charity places and help us be there for people struggling with food insecurity throughout the North East. Entry is FREE but we do ask for a minimum fundraising pledge of £350 (excluding gift aid). Please fill out our online form to get started, and we will contact you with the next steps!
Your Registration Includes:
- A FSNE running top or vest to wear with pride throughout your training and on the big day
- A fundraising pack filled with support and useful information to get you started
- Regular contact from us to guide you along on your AJ Bell Great North Run journey
- Access to our official Team FSNE Facebook group to chat to your fellow Team FSNE members
Use your own place
Already have a place in the Great North Run? Why not make it really count by joining our team to make a difference? We’ll support you all the way and send you a fundraising pack, regular email updates packed full of tips and advice and the biggie, an official ‘Team FareShare North East’ T Shirt.
As an own place runner, you’ll not have a set fundraising target, but every penny you so raise will be gratefully received and put to use in your community. Please fill out our online form to get started.
