FareShare North East are hosting a workshop with Jen Brown from Your Local Pantry, designed to showcase how they can support new and existing members on all aspects of setting up and maintaining a community food pantry.

What we will be exploring

• How community food pantries can move beyond emergency food aid, helping create lasting support
• Learn about the Your Local Pantry model and how it supports dignity, choice, affordability and community connection.
• Hear real-life examples of the impact pantries have on food insecurity, wellbeing and financial resilience.
• Discover how participation and lived experience can strengthen community projects and create lasting change.
• Find out about the support available through the Your Local Pantry Network, including a dedicated Development Coordinator, management software, training and practical resources.
