Support us with the Big Give Christmas Challenge! 2nd-9th December 2025
FareShare North East is taking part in The Big Give – a UK match-funding campaign that helps charities double their donations.
FareShare North East’s target this year is to raise £20,000 – enough to support the delivery of 70+ tonnes of good food to over 250 community groups across the North East, turning it into more than 165,000 meals!
We are halfway there with commitments, but still need to raise £10,000 during the Big Give week to hit our goal.
Here’s how you can help
You can give your support by:
- Spread the word – Share our campaign with friends, colleagues and your community. Every share helps!
- Get your workplace involved – Fundraise, volunteer, or shout about it on your channels.
- Save the date – Plan to donate between 2nd–9th December and double your impact.
Together this Christmas, we can make a bigger difference!
What impact your donation will have
£10 = 82 meals
£25 = 205 meals
£50 = 410 meals
£100 = 820 meals

Can you help us reach our target? Then pop the date in your diary, and together we can make a bigger difference this Christmas. Anything donated in this period will be doubled, anything received outside of this period won’t count towards our target.
